The Process
Kickoff
I meet with the client via telephone to get acquainted. We discuss your project goals, scope, audience, and method of delivery. I share any suggestions or ideas that I have.
Design
The first thing I do is visit your website. This gives me insight into your business, company culture, and philosophy. Next, I create a color palette and select typefaces. Then I design the opening slide and several slide master layouts.
Build
After designing the main slide layouts, I submit 3-4 for you review. After I get your approval, I build the remainder of the deck. I create new layouts as needed during this phase. I communicate frequently with you as I work.
Review
Upon completion, I will send the deck for you to review. You should check for completeness, accuracy, spelling, sequencing, etc.
Finish
I make any modifications resulting from the final review. At this point, I animate the deck. During this phase, we discuss the presenter’s style and timing. After which, I apply clicks and transitions according to the presenter’s directions.
