This client approached me with a project requiring a rapid turnaround. I generally don’t take on rush jobs. However, she asked nicely; the deck was only about a dozen slides, and it sounded interesting, so I agreed to take the job.

The presentation was a pitch to a specific firm. The makeover was a one-to-one slide replacement. As usual, I started with the development of a color palette. Then I chose suitable images. The original deck was text only. It had no imagery at all, so I needed to illustrate every slide in some way. I also reduced the verbiage on text-heavy slides. I designed clean, stylish layouts with consistent headings, titles, et cetera. Finally, I applied animations and transitions to invigorate the presentation.

I saved the layouts that I created. They, along with the color scheme, and fonts became a PowerPoint theme that the client can use to provide consistency across all company presentations.

I delivered the completed presentation on time and to the client’s complete satisfaction.
